“On an uncharacteristically cold and rainy Thursday (December 15) in Los Angeles, Wale and Big Sean teamed up to shoot the clip for the Ambition single, “Slight Work.” One of the most notable things about the warehouse shoot was who was behind the cameras—Chris Brown. The trio of friends spent the entire day and night filming a few different set-ups, with Breezy calling the shots on every detail from camera angles to dancer choreography. There was even a point where he adjusted several of the lights himself.
On Tuesday night (December 13) Chris Brown took to Twitter to announce that he would be co-directing the video with Godrey Tabarez. “I’m directing @Wale and @BigSean slight work video this week!” he wrote “Gonna be a Movie! F—- wit me!!” The 22-year-old has collaborated with both artists previously, appearing on Big Sean’s Finally Famous single “My Last” and Wale’s “Pretty Girls (Remix)” along with Fabolous.”
